Section II – Part A
As we will emphasize throughout our publication, the Book of Daniel is sealed for interpretation by only one, Michael the Great Prince. One of the chief ways this has been done is by the ambiguous use of pronouns. Therefore, it is in revealing properly, per his guidance, just to whom or to what the “he” or the “they” refers that brings much of the understanding.
Further Clarifying Daniel’s 70 Weeks
Then Synchronizing with Christ’s Birth
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Cycles – Times
What is the Bible presenting in 70 Weeks so that we can understand this time-period? It does not specifically say “days” of the literal week. When considering the Law and the Prophets we will find in Genesis it says:
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
We understand that these things are determined by the relation within the Solar system, where the planets circle around the sun, with the earth making one full cycle or time determining one full year. The earth rotates on its axis one full cycle or time in 24 hours or in 1 day composed of evening or night, and morning or day, approximately 12 hours each as stated in the pattern of
Genesis 1: 5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31, (selected)
. . . the evening and the morning were the . . . day.
Which Cycle Does One Apply?
One cycle is equal to “one time around,” but which measure do we apply in Daniel? A full reading of Daniel reveals the following expressions of cycles:
· Daniel 7:24-27 - “time and times and the dividing of time”
· Daniel 8:13-14 - “two thousand and three hundred days” hereafter referenced as “2300 days” or “2300-day prophecy”
· Daniel 9:24-27 – “Seventy Weeks” hereafter referenced as “70 Weeks”
· Daniel 12:7 - “time, times and an half” hereafter referenced as “times, times and a half” in modern expression
· Daniel 12:11 - “thousand two hundred and ninety days” hereafter referenced as “1290 days”
· Daniel 12:12 - “thousand three hundred and five and thirty days” hereafter referenced as “1335 days”
In analyzing these statements, in applying either a literal year or a literal day, will certainly produce different results. We will find in Section IV of this publication, presented in detail from Daniel 10, called THE CYRUS DECEPTION, that before Daniel was given understanding of the 70 Weeks prophecy, political Zionists of his day were eager to return to Jerusalem within THEIR understanding of Jeremiah 25:1-11 and 29:10-14. They took the return concept, while omitting the spiritual condition stipulated to be characteristic in Israel before any such return, as stated in those very scriptures:
. . . Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you . . .
Daniel 9:13 confirmed they were not in this proper condition:
. . . Yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
Still, they pushed ahead against Daniel’s objections and assumed an interpretation of 70 literal weeks of 7 literal days each, determining this to be 490, 24-hour-days. Less than two full years later, once they acted under the Decree of Cyrus fabricated out of their concept fed to Cyrus that he was the long-awaited Messiah to bring them deliverance, they came to a melancholy and depressing end. This whole attempt at an Exodus from Babylon did not fulfill Jeremiah 23:2-8 and was a colossal flop that failed to bring the blessing they envisioned.
2 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord.
5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord lives, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The Lord lives, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
So, we find that the 70 Weeks Prophecy was not speaking of literal days of a literal week. In fact, “days” are not mentioned at all in this scripture Daniel 9:24-27.
Weeks of Years
Using the process of elimination, we come to 70 Weeks of years which would be 70 multiples of 7 years or 490 years. This did not lead to anything of significance as well, when counting from Cyrus’ Decree in 539 BCE or from the end of their attempt in 537 BCE. Counting from that completion of 537 BCE, 483 years leaves a 70th Week of 47-40 BCE, uneventful years or no Bible significance. Counting from Nehemiah’s approval to return to rebuild the walls in 444 BCE, as many of the Dispensationalists’ concept suggest, one comes to 40-47 CE for the last confirmation week and again no significance.
However, let us consider a number of factors from this prophecy, so we may be able to see what indeed fits this formula:
1) We find from this prophecy that the last week is confirmed by Messiah for one week.
2) Starting directly after 69 weeks where using years in this formula for 483 years of the 490 years, leaves us with the one week called the confirmation week or the 70th Week of 7 years.
3) We also see Messiah is cut off “in the midst of” that 70th Week. This would be 3 and ½ years into this last or 70th Week, which leaves 3 and ½ years after that cutting off in order to complete that 70th Week.
The question remaining at this point would be: Can we look forward in history from 539 BCE when this prophecy was given and find one half of a week of years or 3 and ½ years fulfilled by a Messianic claim by events in Jerusalem and the Holy Land? The answer is “yes.” From the fall of 26 CE unto the spring of 30 CE, a ministry, of one operating in that position as Messiah, ministered and came to a violent end in his crucifixion. Now using Weeks of Years as we progress with this consideration, and the fact that it states there is a cutting off in the midst of the 70th Week or Last and confirmation week, we can conclude this is 3 and ½ ‘years into the 70th Week. Coming to this conclusion and moving back 69 weeks of 7 years each or 483 years from 26 CE or 3 and ½ years later or 486 and ½ years from 30 CE, we come to the Decree of Ezra in the fall of 458 BCE. We will see from the record of Ezra 7 that this decree was indeed to restore and build Jerusalem in establishing government according to the Law of Moses within Ezra’s authority to teach and instruct prescribed by Deuteronomy 17:9-13, being a Priest and ready Scribe. When combining Ezra 7 with Psalms 122, which we will analyze in-depth shortly in this same Section, we clearly see the true building of any city, and especially Jerusalem, is in establishing judgment in government.
The Daniel 9 Cycle Is Clearly Years
Which Dictates the Same Cycle in Daniel 7 and 12
Now seeing this fulfills Genesis 1:14 within the concept of cycles or times of the earth around the sun which is ‘years,’ and not the concept of cycles or times of the earth’s rotation on its axis which is ‘days,’ we need only apply the term “cycles” or “times” to ‘years’ in this prophecy to determine this ministry of Jesus as Messiah was for 3 and ½ years, or cycles or “times.” This understanding need only be taken to one more step to understand the expression “time times and the dividing of time” in Daniel 7:24-27 and “time, times, and a half” in Daniel 12:7. They are an extension out of Daniel’s 70th Week as to the Last Half of the Messiah Ministry not fulfilled when he was cut off in 30 CE leaving 3 and ½ years or “cycle, cycles, and ½ cycle” or “time, times and ½ time.” This process, just taken in the foregoing paragraphs and followed very carefully using years, cannot yield any other conclusion.
The exception to this reasoning has been, for most of the erroneous conclusions here, a failure to consider all of Daniel together as a package in at least a thorough reading completely through, as a beginning and general orientation. This should be joined with an equally thorough search and understanding from the Law and the other earlier prophetical books written before the Book of Daniel to which Daniel looked for understanding and, additionally from which, Gabriel answered Daniel in this prophecy within the standard as stated in
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
As we mentioned in Section I, in Leviticus 26:44-46 quoted below, God stated through Moses, that even though the curse of Seven Times more judgment would be on Israel, God would remember THE COVENANT, and particularly when they were in the land of their enemies, as Daniel and the remnant faithful among greater Israel so were, located in Babylon at the time of these prophecies given to Daniel. Again, we emphasize this is not the original Covenant of God with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but rather the Law of Moses added 430 years later during the Exodus from Egypt in 1495 BCE after the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE. We will find that Messiah is the key and channel fulfilling the Covenant of the Law of Moses to return unto the faith of Abraham solely, which is the full redemption AND NOT A RESTORATION OF THE DAVIDIC KINGDOM OF SOLOMON WHICH WAS UNDER THE LAW.
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God.
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.
46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the Lord made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
There is therefore no greater prophecy of fulfillment of this promise to Israel, to remember them and the Covenant with them, than this prophecy to Daniel in Babylon, the land of his enemies. Thus, all that the other prophets have said with reference to answering them in their captivity should and must be brought to bear upon the Book of Daniel, or we will be off in private interpretation and falsehoods not considering those earlier mandates and factors.
Returning now to our discussion of cycles and their application to the prophecy of Daniel’s 70 Weeks, we remember that a cycle is one time around a circle, and it contains 360 degrees, as we can envision the earth circling the sun. The duration it takes to go one cycle around that circle may be longer or shorter depending on the speed one travels that circle, size of the circle, and gravity. Hence the earth going around the sun still travels 360 degrees, however due to factors of speed, gravity, as well as a slightly elliptical pattern, it takes 365 and ¼ days to make that cycle. Now applying this to a ‘perfect’ year geometrically, or a biblical year, it would be 360 days, or 12 months of 30 days each, or 3 and ½ perfect years would equal 42 months of 30 days or 1260 days. 3 and ½ years are biblically 42 months exactly, regardless of how many days are in a year. However, when referring to days for the strict purpose of counting days of this same time-period, it is biblically exactly 1260 days or 3 and ½ years of 12 months each multiplied by 30. This will become more important in later Sections of our publication. One will find that the cycles of the moon around the earth is the way the calendar of the Hebrew orientation is figured. This is where some other calendars also arrive upon their monthly and seasonal reference points as well.
Mathematically on Average
More technically or precisely, 365.2425 solar days, in reference to the sun, forming 12 months, . . . when added to 354.3829 lunar days, in reference to the moon, forming 12 months, equals a total of 719.61 days. 719.61 divided by 2 comes to 359.8 days for an average amount of days in a year or for 12 months of the earth’s relationship to both the sun and the moon combined. This yields as well, a 360-day year of 12 months of 30 days. Let us again consider
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
So, we find that the seasons which are determined by the monthly rendering via the moon or lunar observance combined with the yearly rendering via the sun give the 360-day average as we just explained above. Hence, we can see a correlation between the concept of 3 and ½ years, 42 months and 1260 (12 x 30) days in Bible prophecy when keeping the precedent before us in Genesis 1:14 quoted above.
Preterism’s Presumption Prevents
Them from Perceiving Daniel Correctly
Daniel’s 70 Weeks is a formula for deliverance of the physical, people of Israel. Contingent upon their deliverance, the world is also delivered in the end time as Apostle Paul states in conjunction with Isaiah:
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
As we have shown above, the simple progression of Daniel 9:24-27 is the Messiah Ministry to bring the blessing of deliverance delineated in Daniel 9:24. Those of Preterism insist and firmly hold correctly to 3 and ½ years for Christ’s “personal” ministry. As we have shown, this is the fall of 26 CE – 30 CE. At this point, there is no disagreement as to 3 and ½ years, although there are debates about starting at 26 CE, which we address later showing the error of 33 CE for the crucifixion as many have held for centuries whereby we have the erroneous “A.D. 1,” once assumed to be the first “year of our Lord” or the birth of Jesus Christ. Again, we will consider this later and refute same.
What about the period left over after the crucifixion?
If Christ was cut off in the “midst of the week,” the remainder leaves 3 and ½ years to go. Those of Preterism or “replacement theology” that build their understanding upon Acts 7 as the answer, saying it was the time between Christ’s death and the stoning of Stephen that consumes this time, have abandoned all clear logic. First of all, and paramount, Messiah fulfilled the first 3 and ½ years PERSONALLY. Daniel 9:24-27 gives no quarter to a vicarious fulfillment via any apostle and certainly not Stephen, appointed by the Apostles but was not, himself, an Apostle directly. The point here: If Messiah fulfilled the Covenant Week in its first half IN PERSON, it is Messiah that will fulfill the last half IN PERSON. If Christ’s ministry was 3 and ½ years, then why would not the Book of Daniel contain the other 3 and ½ years of the Christ Ministry for deliverance as well? Additionally, if the Book of Daniel indeed has that answer, and it certainly and clearly does, we must stay with a day for a year in the Last Half of the 70th Week.
Is it Logical?
Knowing that “time, times, and a half” of Daniel 7:24-27 and 12:7 is indeed 3 and ½ years, why would some illogical and erroneous teachings insist upon pulling that period out as a separate prophecy from Daniel’s 70th Week? Indeed, they greatly err when they correctly say it is also 1260 days or 42 months, as we have shown above, but must be computed not as the 3 and ½ years completing Christ’s Ministry but rather as a totally separate prophecy. This is simply ludicrous, void of a logical analysis of the full context of Daniel. From there, some groups of Christianity apply the day for a year factor again to each day of the 3 and ½ years, then use 1260 years in their interpretations of Daniel 7:24-27 and 12:7, not to mention the similar references in the Book of Revelation.
The Why and How of This Error?
Well, here is the reason they separate the rest of the Book of Daniel from the 70 Weeks and the 70th Week in particular: It is only because of their private interpretation of Acts 7, as we have pointed out, without first considering the Old Testament before superimposing that assumption upon Daniel. In other words, by interpreting Daniel 9 as over, finished, and done in the stoning of Stephen, they then go on and totally run amuck in Daniel 7, 8 and 12. Blinded by their original, adamant stand as to the whole 70th Week of Daniel 9 being completed already at the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7, with other versions saying it was at 70 CE and the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem, they relegate all other prophecies in Daniel and Revelation as entirely without connection to that core and pivotal prophecy. By such illogical and reckless handling of the Sacred Text, they have missed the rest of Daniel, some even have built large organizations upon that concept and other statements from Daniel, while looking outside of the parameters of the Holy Land and using Europe and the Christian church for their whole premise concerning the remainder of Daniel. So, we now can see the result and blinding damage of cutting Israel off and saying the church is the Israel of God since the stoning of Stephen, coupled with the notion that all of Daniel 9 is finished by Acts 7. It leads to the total lack of understanding of Bible Prophecy from that point forward. Those that do this are indeed a fulfillment of Zechariah 4:1-4 and Revelation 22:18-19, as to taking away from the prophecy; thus, their whole outlook is taken out of the Word of God as to proper understanding and truth.
Let us look at another error some have concluded once abandoning the FULL progression of Daniel’s 70 Weeks, and the fact that the rest of the Book of Daniel is consumed with events leading up to that final Half, the 3 and ½ years, 42 months, 1260 days of Daniel’s 70th Week, the Covenant Confirmation Week with the children of Daniel’s people, the physical nation of Israel as it pertains to the Covenant of the Law of Moses. This was NOT completely fulfilled by Jesus Christ’s First Ministry to the physical people of Israel, which mandates within the PROPER interpretation of the Bible, and Daniel and Revelation in particular, the return of Messiah to complete that 70th Week. He must return and fulfill the fall Holy Days of Leviticus 23:23-44, and the duties of the High Priest in the Scapegoat ritual removing sin entirely, thus fulfilling Leviticus 16:20-22. Luke 21:24 and Romans 11:25-27 with respect to Leviticus 26:18 Luke speaking of the “Times of the Gentiles” and Romans speaking of the same time-period under the terms “Fullness of the Gentiles” respectively, directly understood to be Leviticus 26:18 “Seven Times more judgment,” will have finished consequent upon Messiah’s return to complete that 70th Week. It is THEN . . . these further points of the Law will be fulfilled that are contingent upon the completion of that Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week not completed in the Ministry of Jesus Christ unto Daniel’s people, Israel, due to being cut off, crucified, after 3 and ½ years, ONLY fulfilling the spring Holy Days of Leviticus 23:1-22.
In the Book of Daniel Specifically
Cycles Stated as:
“Days” Mean 24-Hour Days
“Evening and Morning” Mean 24-Hour Days
“Times” Mean What Is Determined
By Careful and Comparative Context of Scripture
As we approach our more in depth rendering of Daniel 9, proven further as correct by coordinating with Christ’s birth and exact year and day of his death, we will find later in our discussion as we coordinate this prophecy with Daniel 2 through 12, in Daniel 8 in particular, it deals with a specific time-period of 2300 “days” for the cleansing of the sanctuary in Daniel 8. There, we will not find the expression “weeks,” or “years.” It is rather “days,” and CANNOT be interpreted “years,” just as the 1260 days we mentioned above are individual, 24-Hour days. In Daniel 8:13-14 coordinated with verse 26 of Daniel 8, it goes on to further quantify the time period by concluding the prophecy with “the vision of the evening and morning is true.” This terminology further confirms this particular cycle or time is determined by the rotation of the earth on its axis and NOT the circling of the earth around the sun. It is approximately, depending on the season of the year, 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night, meaning literal, 24-hours days. A more extensive proof of this can be seen in the Masoretic, authentic Jewish translation of Daniel 8:14 when speaking of the 2300, which shows the cycles or times ARE 24-hour days:
Daniel 8:14 from the Masoretic Text, TaNaK, Hebrew
. . . Two thousand and three hundred times yet be evening and morning; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Many critical examiners of Holy Writ are very aware that in the English translation from Hebrew, the translators use transliteration in order to make the reading smooth and flow in the English language. For example, in many foreign languages the verb “to be” used as “is” or “are” is not part of their way of expressing a fact. This is the case in Hebrew. In English, we would say “we are English” or “we are American.” In Hebrew, this is stated “we English” or “we American.” Therefore, when translating from Hebrew to English for smooth flow, words are added and are given in italics. Daniel 8:14 has the words “times” and the first “be” transliterated in the text or added in the text. The actual rendering of the verse is as follows:
Daniel 8:14 with transliteration in italics and the rest of the verse in regular print as given in the Hebrew Text:
“. . . Two thousand and three hundred times yet be evening and morning; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Daniel 8:14 without transliteration:
“. . . Two thousand and three hundred yet evening and morning; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
The point here, giving those the benefit of being intelligent and thoughtful in their belief that this verse is speaking of years, one can see they MAY have used the smooth-flow, transliterated translation and seized upon the word “times” to enforce this as being years. Understanding correctly that Daniel 8 is speaking solely of literal days is critical, which is plainly the case in Daniel 8:26, “the vision of the evening and the morning,” with no mention of “times,” keeping the precedent of the Law and the Prophets in Genesis 1:14, “the evening and the morning were the first DAY.” Those leaving this precedent have erroneously arrived upon dates in the 1800’s CE for THEIR interpretation of what THEY teach occurred by using years instead of the correct application of 24-hour days. We will deal more with this later in our other Sections as we move through Daniel when we completely arrive in Daniel 8 accordingly.
Again, we repeat that “times” are always cycles and should be interpreted as to how they fit and correspond within the whole subject and text. We will find that “times” has an even broader, cycle connotation when we consider Leviticus 26:18-39 in more detail later in this publication. In Daniel 9 compared with Daniel 7 and 12, as we have shown, “times” are years based upon understanding Daniel 9:24-27, and the left over 3 and ½ years from the cutting off of the Messiah, which are picked back up in Daniel 7:24-27 as “time times and the dividing of time” and Daniel 12:7 as “time, times, and a half.” This is the critical marker signifying that the termination of the curse under the Law of Moses and the establishment of the blessing under the original faith and Covenant of God with Abraham are ensuing for Israel and consequently the world in the end time, as well as the marker that the evil kingdom and dominion is being removed.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand UNTIL a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swear by him that lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Many Mandates Manhandled and Aborted
Those that have failed to rightly divide the Word of Truth in these cases, principally under the broad banner of Preterism have:
· Violated Prophecy 101, by leaving the boundaries of the Nile and Euphrates of the Holy Land or Covenanted Land given to Abraham and the record of the Law of Moses and those witnesses of Isaiah 8:20, misapplying prophecy outside of the Holy Land to areas and things such as the Common Market, Western Civilization and History, rulers, kings, provinces, nations, and territories of Europe, etc.
· Declared in broad assumption that all of Daniel’s 70th Week was fulfilled in 30 CE and beyond by the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7, while not giving a sure date of the stoning, nor recognizing Messiah must be present PERSONALLY to fulfill the full 70th Week.
· Attempted to steal Israel’s rightful inheritance by asserting that the church is now the Israel of God replacing physical Israel entirely, as the majority teaching of Christendom affirms.
· Capped that doctrine by holding a blanket view that all time periods in Daniel are based on years, when Daniel 8:13-14 compared with verse 26 clearly marks it as 24-hour days.
· And finally entered Daniel without authority to interpret it in the first place, not being Michael the Great Prince designated to hold with Daniel concerning the scriptures of truth as stated in Daniel 10:21.
A Blanket Approach Can Leave One Blank of Truth
We will shortly show in this Section II how the blanket approach does not work when trying to figure the timings for the original Exodus of Israel from Egypt as well, when isolating one verse which appears to state something frankly and to the point. It must be compared with the rest of the Holy Writ to receive the full picture and properly place these important, early pieces to the puzzle. It is in so correctly placing those primary building-blocks that reveal how later pieces fit perfectly.
Let us now move directly into the proper interpretation of Daniel’s 70 Weeks:
24 Seventy weeks (These are weeks of years or 70 weeks of 7 years totaling 490 years) are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
The first three things are true of the Covenant of God with Israel under the Law of Moses as to perpetuity of, or the existence of, transgression, sins, and iniquity. When that Covenant, the Law of Moses, is confirmed and fulfilled these three are eliminated or “finished,” “made and end,” and “reconciled” respectively. The last three – everlasting righteousness, the vision and prophecy, and the Most Holy, are true of the Covenant of God with Abraham and are “bring (brought) in,” “sealed up (completed and finished as a sealed package ready for delivery and blessing extended),” and “anointed” respectively. This is contingent upon the Covenant of God with Abraham REMAINING, and the Law of Moses being completed, confirmed, and fulfilled.
(CoA means Covenant of Abraham; LoM means Law of Moses)
CoA>>>>>> ||LoM>>>>>>>LoM|| CoA>>>>
As shown in this simple diagram, the Covenant of Abraham came first, then came the Law of Moses which remains until it is fulfilled in the anointing of the Most Holy, bringing with that final factor the blessings in Messiah, which effectuate the previous factors in verse 24. We say “effectuate” because they are accomplished by Messiah and are true in him. But, . . . they cannot be released to others unless he is accepted as that anointed one, conveying the revelation of the full truth that accomplishes those five previous factors. We will later find that Israel accepting him nationally, or as a physical people, thus anointing the Most Holy in his final manifestation to the world, which did not occur during the 70th Week, is the final factor, once that Week is fully confirmed and completed, that releases the blessing of the Covenant of Abraham universally. As we will later show in detail, when they are finally driven to that acceptance by a process called the “Last End of the Indignation,” a final judgment in the end time now upon us that brings their conversion, Isaiah 2:1-4 and Micah 4:1-7 will come to pass, and not before. This is, again, the importance of not cutting out the children of Jacob / Israel, the Jews, prematurely before that time. For it is at that time, the blessing comes to all creation according to Roman 8:18-25 which is stated by Paul based upon many scriptures of the Law and the Prophets such as Isaiah 55. Verse 24 of Daniel 9 is now followed with the events and timing structure in verses 25-27, as to how the 70 Weeks, being confirmed and accomplished, would transpire.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (This is 49 years under the Priest and Scribe Ezra and the Governorship of Nehemiah actually rebuilding ‘streets and walls’ from fall of 458 through 409 BCE), and threescore and two weeks (This is 434 years from the end of the Governorship of Nehemiah in 409 BCE to fall of 26 CE, totaling 69 total Weeks or 483 total years figured from 7 plus 62 weeks, as well as 49 plus 434 years respectively): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks (This is FULL weeks and must be taken with the rest of this prophecy and NOT stopped here.) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people (This is the people of Rome) of the prince that shall come (This prince that shall come was Rome under Emperor Vespasian, 69-79 CE, when in 70 CE, his son / prince, Roman General Titus invaded in conquest and destruction) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (The attempt to secede from Rome in rebellion beginning in 66 CE and continuing to the Masada Siege in 72 CE, the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 CE.)
27 And he (This “he” refers back to verse 25 and is Messiah, the Prince) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (This is the Covenant of Israel with God under the Law of Moses, as seen in Daniel 9:11-13 and conditional clauses of Leviticus 26, concerning which Daniel was seeking and received this answer from verse 24-27):
and in the midst of the week (after 3 and ½ years into the Last and Final or Confirmation 70th Week)
he (This is Rome with its king or emperor, when in league with Zionists, on Preparation Day, Nisan 14, April 3, Wednesday, 30 CE, Pontius Pilate, appointed by Rome / Caesar in Jerusalem sentenced Messiah and had him crucified per the prevailing desire of the Chief Priests, Scribes and Pharisees, the leadership of Israel as stated in John 11:45-53, 19:15)
shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation (Messiah IS the fulfillment of sacrifice and offering or “oblation” according to I Samuel 15:22, Psalms 40:6-8, and Hebrews 10:1-10)
to cease (killed Messiah), and for the overspreading of abominations he (Rome in 70 CE) shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The one that makes Israel desolate is Rome which is the desolater. At the consummation or upon the fulfillment of the 70th Week, judgment will be rendered against the Gentile intrusion and destruction brought by Rome. This will occur in the later Revived Rome of the end time represented in the United Nations controlling the Arabs / Sons of Ishmael / ten kings and ten horns of Daniel 7 / ten toes and feet of clay and iron of Daniel 2 and their league with Zionists that killed Messiah under Old Rome. They are still in that rejection of Messiah in the end time bringing this “determined” pouring out of judgment and THEN blessing accordingly, as stated in other terms in Daniel 7:24-27, Daniel 8:23-25, Daniel 11:36-12:7, and Revelation 17-19 as well, all of which we will consider in detail in due time throughout the remainder of this publication.
Dispensationalists Cannot Have It Both Ways
Dispensationalists insist on stopping after the expression in verse 26 “And after threescore and two weeks.” From that assumption, they contend that after the 7 weeks of rebuilding the streets and walls plus this mention of 62 weeks combined, totaling 69 Weeks or 483 years, Christ was immediately, with the next tick of the clock, crucified. They then leave the whole 70th Week for the end time to be figured within THEIR concoction of ‘a’ negative, satanic covenant as if that was an answer to Daniel concerning ‘THE’ Covenant of God with Israel and the deliverance Daniel sought for his people. If that was the way the statement should be interpreted, . . . that Christ was crucified immediately as the clock struck the last minute of the 483rd year, then it also follows suit that the destruction that follows in the rest of this verse 26 would also have to be IMMEDIATELY after that 69th Week or 483rd year as well. Yet, in contradiction to their own reasoning, they concur that this destruction was 70 CE by Titus of Rome 40 years after the Crucifixion.
Here again, as with those that want to blanket Daniel in every case with a day for a year and have assumed the 2300 DAY prophecy is figured that way, Dispensationalists likewise have run with THEIR assumptions and forced scripture to fit their views as well, quite illogically. Additionally, Dispensationalists divide Daniel 9:26 from Daniel 9:27. Daniel was being answered by Gabriel concerning “the Covenant” in verse 26 which is qualified with further details in verse 27. Taking time to read the verses together a number of times will confirm the logic within itself. Putting about 2000 years between verse 26 and 27 is illogical, but necessary to support the preposterous notion that verse 27 is a separate covenant or “a” covenant with a satanic figure. Dispensationalists’ division here is dumb-founding, and clearly without sound reasoning. Whereas dividing between the First and Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week is supported here in Daniel and Revelation, by Messiah being cut off, ceasing, leaving clearly the “time, times and a half,” 3 and ½ years, 42 months, or 1260 days still remaining unto the physical people of Israel, the children of Daniel’s people in the end time, under the Law of Moses, not fulfilled and confirmed, UNTIL the FULL 70th Week is completed.
The Proper “He”
Dispensationalists have first decided the “he” that confirms ‘the’ covenant is a future “prince” or character from Rome similar to Titus of Rome that came and carried out the destruction of 70 CE. They have made this assumption rather than properly recognizing that this “he” rather refers to the twice stated “Messiah,” upon which the count was centered, and of whom it is said he is “cut-off.” From that blunder, they push forward to teach that the confirmation of “the” covenant for one week is rather “a” covenant of a satanic nature. From there, they fit the rest of the puzzle pieces into that design of a future 70th Week entirely. They then figure the “midst of the week” when Messiah was killed, well-established by most in Christendom to be the end of a 3 and ½ year ministry, is still referring to literal sacrifices, which leads to the next literal necessity to fulfill this scenario. In order for literal sacrifices to be in place, they have to interpret a literal, rebuilt temple to justify the literal sacrifices. This is, at least, a logical conclusion once already having gone down the wrong path in this interpretation, in light of the fact that they agree, as is indeed true, that the temple was destroyed in 70 CE. It is here they have perverted the entire understanding of II Thessalonians 2 into a singular man sitting in a rebuilt literal temple, as if such diabolic design could be the “temple of God.”
As a result, of such literalism applied to the Book of Daniel, and unfounded assumptions which have not considered the whole premise prior to Daniel 9:24-27, nor the Law and previous Prophets from whom Daniel sought his answer and Gabriel answered, they have missed the fulfillment of the spring Holy Days WITHIN this 70th Week. They apply whatever they see of Jesus Christ fulfilling the Law as being done prior to this last and only remaining week, so that they can reserve the entire week for their satanic covenant theory and 7 years of tribulation. These spring Holy Days, as we will show, were fulfilled by Messiah, meticulously day by day, from Leviticus 23:1-21, WITHIN the Covenant 70th Week, at the very end of the First Half in 30 CE.
Preterists Will Agree So Far
But Not from Here On
Preterists, which teach the entire 70th Week was fulfilled and may agree with Michael’s correct interpretation so far as given above, will be stopped short in that agreement as we show what was not fulfilled. We covered their erroneous, general assumptions very well in Section I and will address them as we proceed in our publication. Yet, all in all, it can be concluded by pure logic that Preterists have the more logical argument if one leaves out their nebulous, missing, sure date of the stoning of Stephen, and the fact that Messiah must be personally present to fulfill the complete 70th Week. Realizing a miss is as good as a mile, leaving Preterists short of truth, although more logical in their doctrine than superimposing a satanic covenant into the equation as done by Dispensationalists, let us continue with the truth of Daniel 9.
After the Messiah Is Cut Off
The Same Thing As:
After the Sacrifice and Oblation Ceases
This “that determined,” which is to be poured upon the desolate or desolator that has brought the desolation of 70 CE, will be consequent upon the “consummation” which is the return of Messiah fulfilling the Last Half or Last 3 and ½ years of Daniel’s 70th Week or “time times and the dividing of time” that was left over and not completed due to his cutting off after 69 and ½ Weeks or 486 and ½ years of the total of 490 years. Moving from Daniel 9 to Daniel 7:24-27, we find that it is after this smaller timing of the last 3 and ½ years that the “judgment shall sit,” giving the kingdom to the “saints of the Most High.”
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise (This is in the end time as we will later consider and aligns with the feet and 10 toes of the image of Daniel 2): and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand UNTIL a time and times and the dividing of time.
So, we understand that this power will remain in control of the Holy Land, in particular the Holy Mount in Jerusalem, until the completion of that designated time-period of “time times and the dividing of time.”
Additionally, as stated in Daniel 12:7, it is also after this same, smaller timing, the blessing or power of the holy people is scattered or broadcast.
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven and swear by him that lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Jesus words also state the same thing in:
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Above when we designated this “time, times, and a half” as a “smaller time-period,” we made that statement because this critical timing, which introduces the “judgment shall sit” against the negative party and declares a message of deliverance for the positive party, comes AFTER the vast and larger timing of the Times of the Gentiles has finished. Upon this “consummation” or the Covenant with Israel being confirmed and completed by the physical presence of Messiah fulfilling that Covenant with the physical, nation of Israel in Jerusalem, for the Last Half of Daniel’s 70th Week, the 3 and ½ years, the desolator would be removed bringing the Full Redemption. Again, this is fulfillment and ending of the Covenant of God with Israel under the Law of Moses, bringing the redemption, a restoration back to the Covenant of God with Abraham – the original Covenant for the blessing of Israel and the entire world.
Daniel is given a specific time-period of 70 weeks, which we have already seen was not 70 literal weeks of 24-hour days. The obvious next selection is 70 Weeks of years or 490 years. This is determined by the precedent of a day for a year, set in Israel’s history, as stated in Numbers 14:34, established in the incident over the bad report about entering Canaan.
After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
They took 40 days to spy out the land and bring a report that they were unable to take the land. Therefore, for every day they had taken bringing the report, they had to wander one year in the wilderness for a total of 40 years before they actually entered the Promised Land. This incident of multiplied judgment enlarging upon disobedience is seen as well as we have stated earlier in Section I when the 70 years of Babylonian Captivity according to Leviticus 26:14-17, Jeremiah 25:1-11, and 29:10-14 were enlarged in the Seven Times more of Leviticus 26:18-39.
Any Timeline Is Only as Accurate as Its Starting Point
Looking now at this period of 70 Weeks as 70 multiplied by 7 years for a total of 490 years, once arriving at this deduction, the next task is to assign a starting date to the 490 years. We see that a total of 69 weeks is used UNTO Messiah the Prince or 483 years according to Daniel 9:25. Jesus ministry beginning in the summer/fall of 26 CE, counting back 483 completed years will bring us to the summer/fall of 458 BCE.
Inaccurate Starting Dates
That Cyrus’ decree of Ezra 1:1-3, II Chronicles 36:22-23 was not honored by this prophecy is obvious, as can be proved by counting 490 years from spring 537 BCE, when the 70 years of captivity was over. As we stated earlier, one will arrive at the years 40-47 BCE, for that last or 70th Week, uneventful years in biblical terms. Some have suggested counting from Nehemiah’s construction efforts of 444 BCE. This will take us too far to see any significance in the years 40-47 CE. However, when we count from the proper authority given to Ezra in that he was a Priest and “ready Scribe,” as seen in Deuteronomy 17:9-13 and Ezra 7:1 - 8 and 25 - 26, to establish government under the Law of Moses and organize the people in accordance with the Law, we find a match from the fall of 458 BCE to the fall of 26 CE for 483 of those 490 years or 69 Weeks of the 70 Weeks.
9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.
12 And the man that will do presumptuously and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
Ezra 7:1-8 and 25-26
Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,
2 The son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub,
3 The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,
4 The son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki,
5 The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest:
6 This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him.
7 And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.
8 And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.
9 For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.
10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
. . .
25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.
26 And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
Law and Order is the REAL rebuilding of any city, especially Jerusalem as seen in Psalms 122, therefore we can understand that this decree in Ezra’s hands DID fit the formula revealed to Daniel.
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.
What Is the Real City?
A city that is built of building materials and is physically present is not a real city at all, in the proper sense, until it has government and law and order. If the physical city is destroyed and the government remains in tents outside of the destruction, those tents are the real city where laws are made, and justice is carried out. This is plain with the above concept of David in Psalms 122:5; For there are set thrones of judgment, thrones of the house of David. The point is here that “the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times,” was not the real governmental and judicial building of the city specified in that same verse 25 of Daniel 9 as, “to restore and to build Jerusalem.” Those that count from any literal building, rather than from the spiritual building, will not arrive at the beginning of Jesus ministry in 26 CE, or any other orderly and mathematical deduction of Daniel’s 69 Weeks “unto Messiah the Prince.”
From Ezra’s arrival in summer/fall 458 BCE, unto summer/fall 26 CE, is exactly 483 years or 69 weeks of the 70, as described to Daniel in Chapter 9:26, unto the Messiah, the Prince or the beginning of the public ministry of Jesus. Having begun to be about 30 years of age or said to be 30, meaning he was currently in his 31st year, he first was anointed for service at the Baptism carried out by John the Baptist, according to Luke 3:21-23 and then was in the wilderness for 40 days and nights as we see in Luke 4:1-16. This was in the fifth and sixth month, or Av and Elul. Tishrei or the Seventh month would have officially and publicly started the 3 and ½ years or First Half of the Covenant Week of Daniel.
We will notice the substance of the command to Ezra as just quoted from Ezra 7 above, DOES involve governmental and judicial structure. As to the literal construction of Daniel 9:25, the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times, Ezra left for Jerusalem in spring and arrived in Summer of that same year according to Ezra 7:8-9 quoted above. Judging from the language in Ezra 8:35-36, in comparison with Numbers 29:7-11, Ezra read the decree to the Israelites on the Day of Atonement in the early fall, Tishrei, 7th Hebrew month, 458 BCE. Ezra and Nehemiah were both involved in the physical rebuilding mentioned in both Books. This, when compared to the best recorded dates of Nehemiah's end as governor over the region of 409 BCE, yields 49 years which compares to the 7 weeks spoken of separately from the 62 weeks in these verses. The troublous times of this reconstruction were from 458 to 409 BCE. This structure of the 69 or 69 and ½ weeks does not stand alone, as we will show with two other witnesses that point to this time frame forming three witnesses together as a threefold cord of proof.
Still Under the 7 Times Judgment of Leviticus 26:18-39
We also see that the return to obedience to the Law of Moses and full desire to serve God rightly, lacking in the greater part of Israel in the return under Cyrus, was established by Ezra in the rest of his account, which remained until Messiah’s First Ministry with the remnant faithful whose descendants were the shepherds, Simeon, Anna, and those that looked-for salvation as stated in the testimony of Luke 2. Much reform and getting back to basics under the Torah commandments was accomplished by Ezra’s efforts during this little space of grace, as stated in Ezra 9:8, where he longed for a measure of understanding or that God may lighten (their) eyes (and) give (them) a little reviving in (their) bondage. The key point to remember here ˗˗ this was still under bondage. The Leviticus 26:18 follow-up clause to Leviticus 26:17 had been activated in the spring of 537 BCE. Israel’s recognized king that had been sitting at the table of the Kings of Babylon during the 70 years of captivity, Jehoiachin, had died, by the time of the Persian takeover in 539 BCE, according to II Kings 25:27-30 and Jeremiah 52:31-34. There was no king of Israel and they were still under Gentile authority until Messiah would come with deliverance, thus ending this time of judgment. We emphasize this and quote:
4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.
Hosea Truth Dispels Two Preterist Errors
These two verses in Hosea defeat Preterism that falsely says - all was over for national Israel at the end of 70 CE and the destruction of the Holy Temple Mount and Jerusalem, leaving the church, or those that accepted Jesus Christ, to be the real Israel of God. Secondly, there is a theory, among them as well, based upon the installations by Nebuchadnezzar and final destruction of 586 BCE as he replaced Jehoiakim with Jehoiachin, and then replaced him with Zedekiah, and finally removed Zedekiah in the 586 BCE destruction. Some hold this concept as the three overturnings of Ezekiel 21:24-27 leaving the first coming of Messiah in 5 BCE to 30 CE as “he whose right it is” some almost 600 years later. Let us address the 70 CE error first and the 586 BCE error second. These verses, in Hosea 3:4-5, when compared to other facts of history within the 66 canonized books and particularly the 39 of the Old Testament, the Law and the Prophets, defeat both theories.
First of all, there must be THREE overturnings, removals of the crown ENTIRELY, removals of the government ENTIRELY, in which the third removal would be exercised by Israel in repentance. They, themselves, would remove their crown and establish government in the name of “he whose right it is,” according to Ezekiel 21:24-27 to fulfill prophecy concerning national Israel, where 70 CE was only the second and 586 BCE was the first of these THREE overturnings. We will later find this is the same thing as stated in Daniel 11:45 on to 12:1-7. The willful king or those in opposition, due to THEIR concepts of rule, will come to their end whereby Michael stands up for their deliverance, not for destruction, of the children of Daniel’s people, Israel. Neither of these first two overturnings, 586 BCE and 70 CE, were voluntary in any national enlightenment, consequent repentance, and recognition of the Sovereignty of God to establish the government under the king of God’s designation according to Deuteronomy 17:14-20, nor were they done in a manner by Israel to replace the “wicked prince” aspect as Ezekiel 21 states “this shall not be the same” perpetually. This verse in Hosea above states according to the sure word of prophecy that Israel, NOT JUST A REMNANT, would “return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king: and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.” Now just where did this happen for NATIONAL, physical Israel in the First Ministry of Christ or that of his Apostles? IT DID NOT!!! The point here is that there remains a portion for Israel and its Covenant with God to be fulfilled in “the latter days.” Their acceptance of Messiah and what he has done to confirm the Covenant of God with national, physical Israel will only be effective upon the THIRD overturning of the Holy Temple Mount, East or the Old City Jerusalem, and a change of government by Israel in proper condition nationally according to Ezekiel 21:24-27, Daniel 11:29, and Daniel 11:45-12:7. It is here Darby Dispensationalists are correct somewhat, once one moves past their negative covenant / 7-year tribulation theory where they DO hold to blessing for the physical nation of Israel via a personal manifestation to them of Messiah in his return and Final Ministry to Israel.
Now let us handle the objections to the above just stated in the other theory among many Preterists concerning the three overturnings of Ezekiel 21. This conjecture states that being Hosea was a Prophet and writing earlier than Ezekiel 21. Hosea and Ezekiel are fulfilled in Jesus Christ in his First Ministry. It is taught by some that the three overturnings of Ezekiel 21 were the changes made in the kings by Nebuchadnezzar as recorded in II Kings 25 and II Chronicles 36 from Jehoiakim to Jehoiachin, and then Jehoiachin to Zedekiah, and finally from Zedekiah being the third removed king by Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BCE destruction, where Messiah came almost 600 years later in 5 BCE birth as king through 30 CE, “he whose right it is.”
In analyzing, Hosea 3:4-5, as we have specified earlier, the “many days” were within the undetermined time period starting from 537 BCE, of Seven Times more judgment of Leviticus 26:18-39. Now how can we prove that? Well, first of all, the term “many days” is a clear indicator of a long period of time which is, again, unspecified or unquantified as to a given, countable time frame. Such is exactly the case with the Seven Times more of Leviticus 26:18-39, whereas the Babylon Captivity was NOT just “many days” but rather exactly 70 years.
Additionally, concerning the Babylonian Captivity, we have something that the Preterists overlook in holding so adamantly to this theory of three overturnings Jehoiakim to Jehoiachin to Zedekiah to Messiah. Hosea 3:4-5 says “many days WITHOUT A KING.” II Kings 25 and Jeremiah 52, the same way we insist that this period was AFTER the Babylon Captivity, shows that Jehoiachin was obedient to Jeremiah’s warning that the Babylonian judgment had come from God, and if they were subject to Nebuchadnezzar they would be spared. Those that were not so subject, as we see in those that did not heed that warning and went to Egypt in an attempt to escape, were destroyed according to Jeremiah 27 and 43. II Kings 25 and Jeremiah 52 reveal that Jehoiachin, referenced there as “king,” remained under Nebuchadnezzar and was raised up to a place above all the other “kings” at the table of later king of Babylon, Evilmerodach. This was for the remainder of Jehoiachin’s life, having already been there in Babylon for 37 years of the total seventy of Babylonian Captivity before this exaltation by, Evilmerodach. This cancels the Babylonian Captivity as being the period of time marked in Hosea 3:4-5 as “many days without a king.” Therefore, this negates any thought that the three overturnings were under Nebuchadnezzar.
Moreover, the whole premise of Ezekiel 21:24-27 makes a clear link with Daniel 9:24 in that Daniel 9:24 calls for reconciliation for iniquity, end of sins, etc. and Ezekiel states this was concerning “when iniquity is at an end.” Leviticus 26:40-42 states that deliverance would come when Israel confessed their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, this shows repentance and the change of government which brings “iniquity” to “an end” in Ezekiel 21:24-27. This was not at 30 CE, certainly not at 70 CE where Jerusalem was destroyed and Israel went to the diaspora to escaped full destruction, being dispersed in the nations by 135 CE, not converted under proper government. They remain for the latter days when they nationally, long after sacrifices have also been ended in 70 CE, seek David their king, “he whose right it is.”
Moreover, Preterism’s main thrust of all their arguments is based upon the fact that the temple and all ceremony accenting sin and iniquity being removed also removes sin and iniquity as well. This is their major platform when arguing that Romans 11:25-27 is not future but that iniquity was turned away from Jacob in a 70 CE return of Messiah, either in full return which is the stand of Full Preterism, or more popularly, only in judgment in Partial Preterism, which they assume, when not one of the early writings of those that actually knew the original Apostles stated such, after this 70 CE destruction.
Well, clearly, yes, sin and iniquity are not as accented when this system is not in place, but it is not done away altogether in the removal of the system of statutes and ceremonies, as Paul makes plain in Romans 1-3 in that the Gentiles without those things were a law unto themselves and had consciousness of sin present. They were not removed by the removal of the system accenting sin and iniquity. If this was the case, then it was done in 586 BCE. However, Israel still having a king, even after 586 BCE, negates that Hosea 3:4-5 was referring to the first destruction. The possibility may only be extended to a consideration of the 70 CE destruction, but this is ALSO negated by the fact that the final deliverance was not in Messiah’s First Ministry and terminated for Israel in 70 CE as Preterists claim, with iniquity done away by a removal of the system accenting same. It was ALSO for MANY DAYS LATER.
This is clear in holding to three factors in Hosea 3:4-5:
Number One: Many Days.
Number Two: No King.
Number Three: No Sacrifice.
This is another of the threefold cords of the Bible that must be kept together and not quickly broken or separated as Preterism so does.
Notice when we hold these three as inseparable, we then come to the word: “AFTERWARD.”
4 For the children of Israel shall abide MANY DAYS WITHOUT A KING, and without a prince, and WITHOUT A SACRIFICE, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
Therefore, let us now look at the third cord “no sacrifice” and when that would be applied. We have just shown the “no king” aspect negates that Hosea 3:4-5 is speaking of the Babylonian Captivity, due to the fact that they had a king Jehoiachin sitting at the table of the King of Babylon. The “no sacrifice” element of Hosea CANNOT be applied to 537 BCE onward to 70 CE, because the return against Daniel’s council, resulted in the Tishrei, 7th month, 538 BCE building of the temple altar, one year prior to the end of the 70 years of captivity counted from 607 BCE, according to Ezra 3. There can be no realization of Hosea 3:4-5 in the 70 years due to the “no king” point, because Jehoiachin was king. Equally there can be no realization of Hosea 3:4-5 from 538 BCE to 70 CE due to the “no sacrifice” point, because there WERE sacrifices from 538 BCE to 70 CE. At this time, 538 BCE, sacrifices were restarted and practiced from that point forward through to 70 CE and the destruction of the temple, according to Ezra 3, specifically verse 6.
The only conclusion from Hosea 3:4-5 –
“AFTERWARD” means – after 70 CE
Preterists are here silenced on their “system gone, thus sin and iniquity gone” concept which then says, “Israel is gone after the flesh, the church is now the Israel of God, and there is nothing nationally left to be fulfilled for physical Israel.” EXPLICITLY THIS IS ERROR, and Israel, AFTER many days of no king AND NO SACRIFICE, shall “return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.”
Again, from first delving into Daniel to interpret same without the authority of Michael of Daniel 10:21, stated to be the only one to have that understanding to open the book, their “guessing at a sealed book” has only opened a Pandora’s Box of horrors from which many other false concepts have come. AND . . . this is God’s will as well, serving His Plan and Purpose established by His preordination, so they will now be found guilty with all the world, as the author of this publication so was, and finally have their mouth stopped, sit down at the proper teacher’s feet, listen, learn, and be delivered. Amen.
Let us now move from these errors of Preterism on to the history of Israel bringing us to Messiah then and now understood in the divided 70th Week of Daniel 9:24-27. We will first consider the fulfillment as to the First Half in 26-30 CE, awaiting manifestation of fulfillment of the Last Half upon which Messiah’s appearing in judgment, full salvation, and blessing is contingent.
Placing the Birth of Christ through solely
The Law and the Prophets
1455 to 5 BCE Counting Jubilees
Leviticus 25:1-13 – Joshua 5:10-12
Isaiah 37:30-32 – II Kings 19:29-31 – Luke 3:23
A further witness to 458 BCE – Ezra’s Decree
Beginning at the beginning, so to speak, before we coordinate with the literal fulfillment of that Covenant Week or 70th Week of Daniel 9, and the spring Holy Days of Leviticus 23:1-22, as well as the partial fulfillment of the High Priest atonement of Leviticus 16:1-19, we will start at the Birth of Christ and look at how we can find the year of his birth through using strictly the Law and the Prophets in conjunction with some of the New Testament. In doing this, we will confirm that 5 BCE in the spring was indeed the time of that birth. Counting the years to the time of his ministry beginning at age 30 we will come to the fall of 26 CE through spring 30 CE for the time of that ministry. This confirms, as a second witness, the first witness in the interpretation given earlier in Section I and here in Section II of Ezra’s Decree of 458 BCE to the beginning of Christ’s public ministry of 26 CE, fulfilling 69 of the 70 Weeks of Daniel 9, and 3 and ½ years of that Covenant 70th Week up to his being cut off in the spring of 30 CE. This leaves 3 and ½ years for Messiah to fulfill, consequent upon his return and the 7 Times of the Gentiles being completed and finished. We repeat our little diagram at this point as given in Section I to clarify and solidify this in our minds, a practice we will repeat throughout all Sections as we feel it necessary for said solidification, as well as adding additional information as we bring it to bear:
Daniel’s 70 Weeks: Ezra’s Decree and Christ’s Ministry
458 BCE<483yrs>26 CE<3 ½ yrs>30tCE<<????>>3 ½ yrs
Arriving at 5 BCE necessitates that we first address another major Torah mandate fulfilled by the Birth of Christ. Those mandates are in Leviticus 25 and are a rigid counting of years making a 50-year cycle that repeats every fifty years, until we arrive at their purpose, which brings the beginning of the fulfillment of the Law of Moses in the Messiah.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.
7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.
8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
13 In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.
10 And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.
11 And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the Passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.
12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna anymore; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.
As we have just read in the Law of Moses or Torah, Israel was to count a 50-year cycle composed of 7, seven-year cycles and one additional year tallying that 50 years. After this, the 51st year would be the 1st year of the next 50-year cycle. This formula was to commence when they entered the land, which we see was in the spring at the time of Passover. At that time, the manna stopped, and they were to begin eating from the produce of the land. This is the point from which the 1st year of the first 50-year cycle would have started its countdown. Confirmed by extensive consideration of this presentation, which we will give in detail and clarify as we proceed, it can be determined that from the death of Christ in 30 CE back to the call of Abraham was 1954 years. Once seeing and confirming 26 CE as the beginning of Christ’s Ministry and here in this Section II his birth confirmed as 5 BCE, along with firm dates for the Babylonian Captivity of 607 – 537 BCE, and then consulting the rest of the Bible record using the Kings of Judah according to the precedent of Genesis 49:10, and other key scriptures that designate a clear and precise timing, calculator in hand, we will come to the point where Abraham received that call in 1925 BCE. The Apostle Paul, one of the most devout followers of Torah was taught the Law by the renowned teacher at the time of Christ and the Apostles according to Acts 5:34 and 22:3, Gamaliel. Paul states in
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
We see here that according to Paul and therefore Gamaliel, the giving of the Law was in the spring of 1495 BCE, 430 years after the 1925 BCE Call of Abraham. This is further confirmed in the fact that the tabernacle built by the specifications of that Law was set up for the first time on the first day of the first month in the second year according to
Exodus 19:1, 19:5 and 40:17
19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
40:17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
The last full year in Egypt was 1496 BCE being also the 430th year from the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE. The Exodus occurred in the next year or the spring of 1495 BCE, this being also the year of the giving of the Law of Moses in the third month which was still spring and the first year of the Children of Israel’s 40-year wilderness journey. The obvious conclusion going back 430 years brings us to the SPRING for the Call of Abraham as well.
1495 BCE the Correct Year of the Exodus
Thutmose II not Rameses
As a side note to this, we will briefly address the historical facts showing that 1495 BCE was the correct year for the Exodus, which in turn gives us our bearings for the exact year to start the count of Jubilees or 50-year cycles. This is the Bible connection, from the Law and the Prophets, to the birth of Christ and therefore to Daniel’s 70th Week. The Exodus occurred at the time of the Pharaoh Thutmose II, who lost his firstborn in Egypt's final plague, leaving the throne to his sister Hatshepsut and eventually her nephew Thutmose III, after Thutmose II drowned in the Red Sea with his army according to
Exodus 14:17, 27-28
17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
Contrary to the Rameses theory, no undisputed mummy for Thutmose II remains. As a result, of this judgment in the Red Sea as well as the plague of the firstborn being slain, Egypt had to bear the reproach that a woman, Hatshepsut, was left to rule the kingdom. Additionally, after her death and up through the actual time 200 years later of Rameses, there was a massive effort to adjust evidence in Egypt proper that she had reigned over Egypt, as well as records of Israel being in Egypt at all. Clear, again, ‘undisputed’ evidence for Thutmose I and II, her immediate predecessors, has never been discovered. There are disputes of over mummified remains and a number of other mummies as to their identity during this Dynasty in Egyptian history. There is also evidence that some mummies have been moved a number of times and had gold and other things stripped from their coffins and persons, causing questions around these bodies and why they were moved and stripped. This is speculated not to be grave robbers, but rather due to hard-times in later dynasties that required this looting and moving of bodies and burial chambers for financial purposes. In short, the time around the Exodus has some of the poorest records as compared to other dynasties perfectly intact, supporting the fact that this adjusting did indeed occur to eliminate the great stigma and reproach of the events under Moses and the Exodus and their effects and scars on Egyptian pride and perceived supremacy over the ancient world at that time. This is depicted in the Hollywood production of the Exodus, in DeMille’s THE TEN COMMMANDMENTS, as Seti having the evidence of Moses removed from all monuments as if he never existed. What is clear however is that Hatshepsut had to reign until Thutmose III came of age. The fact that some of her monuments and artifacts show her with an added beard certainly brings to the forefront this attempt to cover the true history of Moses, the 215-year existence of Israel in Egypt, and the Exodus. The dating of Thutmose I, II, III and Hatshepsut are also before, during, and after the time of the Exodus in 1495 BCE.
The Blanket of Error
The blanket approach to Exodus 12:40-41 is also in error taking this scripture out of context with the rest of the biblical record and leaving it to stand alone without the other scriptures to further qualify it.
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
When restricting consideration solely to the 12 tribes that entered Egypt with their father Jacob under the protection of Joseph, those 12 tribes, inclusive of Jacob, physically dwelt in the land of Egypt, prior to the Exodus, 215 years. The 430 years stated in Exodus 12:40-41 includes Abraham and his stay in Egypt as well, according to Genesis 12:10, which occurred immediately after he received the Call in 1925 BCE.
12 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.
6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.
7 And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there built he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.
8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord.
9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.
10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.
Paul in Hebrews, in making his point about the Priesthood of Melchisedec being greater than the Aaronic Priesthood states, that Levi, Jacob’s son, paid tithes to Melchisedec by virtue of being in Abraham’s loins when Abraham paid those tithes according to
4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.
9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
430 Years from the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE
Until 1495 BCE Exodus and Giving of the Law of Moses
Therefore, in this manner, the 430 years from the Call and Covenant with Abraham to the giving of the Law under Moses proves that Abraham was a sojourner with the Children of Israel (they still in his loins) in Egypt BEFORE THEY WERE BORN. This is the understanding when comparing Paul’s statement in Galatians 3:16-17, with Exodus 12:40-41.
400 Years from Isaac’s Confirmation at Age 5
Additional confusion has existed around the verse in Genesis 15:13-14 stating that Abraham’s seed (not Abram / Abraham himself) would be afflicted in Egypt 400 years.
13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
In 1895 BCE Isaac started his affliction of 400 years being 5 years old. Why five??? We will clarify by the following:
When Isaac Was Born
Abraham Was 100 Years Old in 1900 BCE
And Abraham was a hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
Upon that birth and Isaac being weaned, Abraham was told by God to send away Hagar and Abraham’s firstborn Ishmael having already declared in Genesis 16 that Ishmael would be multiplied in seed so that it could not be numbered. Moreover, Ishmael would dwell in the presence of all his brethren, insuring him a blessing in the land of Abraham. This blessing to Ishmael and sending away is recorded in
10 And the angel of the Lord said unto her (Hagar), I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. (Chief Patriarch and the brother to Ishmael was Isaac, father and ancestor to Jacob and the 12 Tribes of Israel. Therefore, Ishmael and the Arabs are given inheritance “in the presence” of the descendants of Isaac.)
10 Wherefore she (Sarah) said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son (Hagar and Ishmael): for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
13 And also of the son (Ishmael) of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.
After limiting Abraham to Isaac through whom the Promised Seed would come, “in Isaac shall thy seed be called,” it was only upon Isaac being offered back to God in the supreme test of Abraham’s faith that he was confirmed as seed of Abraham according to Promise as we stated in
15 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed (Isaac) shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
The Offering of Isaac Was at Age 5 in 1895 BCE
400 Years before the Exodus in 1495 BCE
400 years back from the year of the Exodus in 1495 BCE according to Genesis 15:13-14, brings us to the year of the offering of Isaac in 1895 BCE as Abraham’s seed through which the Promise was to be confirmed manifested through Isaac’s seed in Jesus Christ born through his physical lineage. It was at this point in Isaac’s life that he then was the seed afflicted 400 years according to Genesis 15:13-14 just considered earlier. We say Isaac was 5 years old when entering into this affliction because counting from the age of Abraham, of 75 years old in 1925 BCE at the Call of Abraham, forward 25 years to Isaac’s birth when Abraham was 100 years of age as we just saw in Genesis 21:5, brings us to the year 1900 BCE. 400 years back from the Exodus, according to Genesis 15:13-14 quoted above, brings us to 1895 BCE for the confirmation of Isaac as that afflicted seed. This leaves 5 years from Isaac’s birth to the confirmation in the Mount Moriah test of Abraham’s faith, called in Hebrew “The Akedah” or “The Binding.” This began Isaac’s affliction as Abraham’s seed at age 5 and began the 400 years of Genesis 15:13-14. From that point in time he was part of the Children of Israel’s total affliction in Egypt of 430 years. The counting of Israel’s affliction of 400 years included Isaac from the time Abraham offered him up, until the Exodus of the Children of Israel from Egypt 430 years later.
Jacob Born in 1840 BCE
When Isaac Was 60 Years Old
Jacob was born when Isaac was 60 or in the year 1840 BCE according to
And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bear them.
Jacob 130 Years of Age
When He Stands Before Pharaoh in 1710 BCE
215 Years Later the Exodus occurs in 1495 BCE
Jacob states that he is 130 years old when he entered Egypt and stood before Pharaoh according to
9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
This year that Jacob entered Egypt and stood before Pharaoh was 1710 BCE. 215 years completed years later, including 1710 BCE, leaves spring of 1495 BCE for the Exodus.
As a minor point that some may find of interest, we have often heard the expression in the old Christian song, “Rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham, O! Rock-a-my soul!” But have we ever considered the truth of that statement? Well in short; this is where Isaac was, between his birth and the start of his affliction as the confirmed son of Abraham. He was protected in the bosom of Abraham prior to being confirmed as his son. After that confirmation he was then, from that point on, part of the affliction from where we count the 400 years of Genesis 15:13-14. This was part of the grand total of 430 years from the Call of Abraham in 1925 BCE unto the first year of the Exodus 1495 BCE, according to Exodus 12:40-41 and Galatians 3:16-17 already quoted above. We close this discussion of the years leading to Jubilee counting, and its significance in determining the birth of Christ, with another little diagram laying out these years, so we can see them side by side with clarity.
1925<<<1954 years>>>30CE Crucifixion<<??>>2nd Coming
Jubilees and the Birth of Christ
40 Years after the Exodus in 1495 BCE
Israel Enters the Land in 1455 BCE
This Is the First Year of the First 50-Year Cycle
We now return to the consideration of Jubilees and how they bring us to the birth of Christ. Leaving the land of Egypt in that Exodus in the spring, in the year 1495 BCE also was the first year of the 40-year journey of the Children of Israel in the wildness. The last year of the journey was 1456 BCE the 40th year. The first year that they entered the land, which was the first year of the first 50-year countdown, according to Leviticus 25:1-13, was spring, 1455 BCE. The first 50-year cycle would have ended with the fiftieth year being 1406 BCE. 1405 BCE would be the first year of the next 50-year cycle. This means every cycle after that would start in the spring of a year xx55 or xx05 BCE, with the Jubilee or fiftieth year being spring of the year before in xx56 or xx06 BCE.
We make no apology for this, as it may seem, lengthy progression and math lesson because we now will show the importance and purpose for which this was detailed in the Law of Moses. In the Prophets or testimony to that Law, we have the following prophecies in a threefold cord of Ecclesiastes 4:12 pointing to the deliverance of Israel.
Isaiah 37:30-32 and II Kings 19:29-31
30 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springs of the same: and in the third-year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
31 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
32 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this.
Here in this prophecy, recorded in Isaiah first of all, and then repeated verbatim in II Kings, we find the year of the confirmation for this deliverance insuring that the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this. The only other place recorded in the Bible where this statement “the zeal of the Lord of host shall do this” is also concerning the birth of Messiah according to:
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
That birth was at the beginning of a new 50-year cycle. The two years that are marked clearly here follow in accordance with Leviticus 25:4 and 11, by virtue of NO PLANTING AND NO REAPING for both years. The only place where that would be the case, for two years in a row or consecutive years, would be at the end of the Jubilee cycle of 50 years. In the 49th year there was no sowing or reaping in that it was a seventh year of the seventh cycle followed by the 50th year where again there was no sowing and reaping. After these two years ending the 50-year cycle, in the next year there IS sowing and reaping, beginning in the spring, because it is the 51st year or first year of the next 50-year cycle.
Spring Harvest and Not the Fall
The remnant that takes root downward and bears fruit upward is confirmed in Messiah as indicated in
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.
1 Corinthians 15:20
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.
That corn of wheat was Christ. He was the first fruits of the remnant or those who slept under the Law and Prophets waiting for deliverance in Messiah. Upon his death, burial and resurrection, and later, on the Day of Pentecost, that life, or mindset of the Father, the understanding of truth in Christ that set them free, came from the presence of the Father back upon the people. This was Christ or the Anointing in them whereby they could bear fruit upward being the first ones up from the dead in the First Resurrection, according to John 5:24-25. The confirmation that this would take place came 34 years earlier when in 5 BCE, according to these above prophecies in Isaiah 37 and II Kings 19, as well as Isaiah 9, Christ was born on the first year of that Jubilee 50-year cycle, fulfilled from the spring.
No Other Bible Event on a Year after Jubilee
From the time that this prophecy was given in 713 BCE, the fourteenth year of Hezekiah, during the invasion of Judah by Sennacherib king of Assyria according to Isaiah 37:1, other than the Birth of Christ, there has been no Bible recorded event specifically on the year after Jubilee, the 51st year, which is the first year of a new Jubilee cycle. This is further confirmation that this is the event to which this prophecy pointed. The only other event in Bible history to occur even close was on a year of Jubilee and not the year after. It was the invasion of Nebuchadnezzar in the fall of 607 making 606, the year of Jubilee, the first full year of Israel’s Babylonian Captivity. Ironically, the very cycle that was to produce a release from debt and servitude on that Jubilee year of 606 BCE according to the rest of Leviticus 25, starting with verse 13, produced the exact opposite. As it states, ye shall return every man to his possession, but due to Israel’s disobedience and violation of the Covenant with God, this became the first full year of their servitude to the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar.
Christ states he is metaphorically the “corn of wheat,” which is reaped in the spring, and not some other fruit that is seasonally reaped in the fall according to
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.
As understood from Joshua 5:10-12 and Leviticus 25:1-2, the counting of Jubilee cycles began in the spring when Israel entered the land in 1455 BCE. Late winter and early spring of every year xx55 or xx05 BCE was the first planting and harvest of each new 50-year cycle. It follows that Messiah and the deliverance promised through the remnant according to Isaiah 37 and II Kings 19 would fulfill the first planting and harvest and not wait for the second planting and harvest of the fall. Additionally, the Call of Abraham is seen in the spring by math deduction of 430 years back from the Exodus in early spring and the giving of the Law in late spring, where Joshua entered the land in the spring of 1455 BCE that initiated the Jubilee count, spring to spring.
Also, Using Logical Deduction
Moreover when we examine the record of Christ’s birth compared to the fact that Joseph and Mary traveled to Jerusalem for the Passover EVERY year, according to Luke 2, and verse 41 in particular, and there is no mention of a return to Nazareth after the taxation before they were seen in the temple for Mary’s purification, verses 22-39, we can understand why the inn was full, verse 7, during these spring Holy Days in Bethlehem and time of people returning to their birth city for taxation, just outside of Jerusalem. It is illogical that they came twice to Jerusalem that same year, an approximate 65-mile walk riding on a donkey one way from Nazareth, especially Mary being with child, just because of the census / tax decree of Caesar Augustus. It is logical - Jews celebrating the beginning of the year in spring and no specific time of the year given for that census / tax in this record, Nisan the first month of the Hebrew year, seasonably much more favorable for travel than the heathen origins of the date of December 25, aligns with their trip for the census / tax as they made their yearly journey for Passover.
Additionally, the new year when the kings started their reign and from which those years were numbered is from the spring, where even Jewish tradition calls this the “new year of the king” and also traditionally all contracts are dated by Nisan 1. Of course, the Torah new year for Israel leaving Egypt under Moses is stated in Exodus 12 as Nisan 1 in the early spring. Putting this together with the time of Jesus birth we have in
16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the Most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
18 And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remains of the city.
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
As many things that were damaged as to the actual truth by Constantine’s amalgamation of Christendom with the Roman Empire, people’s notion of the nativity of Jesus has the wisemen at the manger scene with the shepherds in Bethlehem. This is erroneous. They came to honor him that is born King of the Jews after the nativity scene, Jesus being born there in the spring around the time of Passover when Joseph and Mary yearly went to such in Jerusalem, this being the new year in Nisan as dictated by Torah, and by tradition the beginning of the king’s reign, as well as Jewish contracts of business are dated by this Nisan, spring timing. Therefore, it follows the contract for census / tax would have been based upon the spring, Nisan, the month of Passover.
Fall Fulfillment Still Future
Messiah ben Judah / David
Messiah ben Joseph
As we will show, any fulfillment concerning the fall harvest is left for, and fulfilled during, the return or Second Coming of Christ and Second or Last Half of Daniel’s Covenant Week of Daniel 9. Jesus was beginning his 31st year, or said to be about 30 years old when he began his ministry as stated in Luke 3:23. This is the same age when both David and Joseph came to leadership, age 30, according to II Samuel 5:4-5 and Genesis 41:46 respectively. David, having his connection to the patriarchs and the blessing and prophecy of Jacob in Genesis 49:8-12, (Messiah ben Judah / David) is fulfilled in Messiah as the victorious King putting all enemies under his feet as stated in I Corinthians 15:22-28. Joseph, having this same connection in Genesis 49:22-26, is fulfilled in Messiah as the one rejected by his own brethren, yet available to save them in the end as seen in Daniel 12:1-7. We will later show, in links we have in Section XIII, how it is paramount that both of these blessings / prophecies be fulfilled where a time of rejection is experienced but eliminated in the restitution, redemption, and resurrection when Messiah is revealed, with all mysteries made known, in the completion of God’s Plan and Purpose.
In summation, spring 5 BCE was the birth of Christ and the only biblical event to occur on a year after Jubilee since the prophecy of Isaiah 37 and II Kings 19 was given. Therefore, it fulfills the Law of Moses, Leviticus 25:1-13, and the purpose for this instruction, thus ending the need for that counting any further having fulfilled that Law and that prophecy. This also confirms 26 CE at age 30 for the beginning of Christ’s Ministry giving an equally firm count back to 458 BCE for the start of Daniel’s 70 Weeks. So, we have two witnesses to the same thing: One is the count of Jubilees to Christ’s birth in spring of 5 BCE, and then counting 30 years to his ministry in 26 CE. This is joined with the second witness of 483 years, 69 weeks of years, count from Fall of 458 BCE to Fall of 26 CE to start the 70th and final Week of Daniel 9:24-27. Christ being born in the spring as the corn of wheat of the spring harvest and dying in the spring as the Passover Lamb confirms that he was about 34 years of age at the crucifixion leaving from the Mount of Olives 40 days later being 34 years old. We also note here, it was 1954 years from the Call of Abraham to the Death of Christ. It also follows that Christ, this same Jesus, Acts 1:11, will be 34 years old when he returns, beginning his 35th year, even as he was 34 years old and just into his 35th year in 30 CE, 1954 years after the call of Abraham.
Daniel’s 70 Weeks Synchronized with Birth of Christ

This is the close of Section II – Part A concerning Christ’s birth and the outline of history bringing us to that event. We will now address in Part B the Spring Holy Days of Leviticus 23 and their fulfillment in Messiah as they coordinate and further witness to Daniel’s 70th Week properly understood.
Section II – Part B
Spring Holy Days of Leviticus 23:1-21 Fulfilled
In the Final Days of Messiah’s First Public Ministry
Daniel’s 70th Week: The First Half: 26-30 CE
Further Clarifying Daniel’s 70 Weeks
Synchronizing with Holy Days of Leviticus 23:1-21
Anyone that does a sparse perusal of the New Testament will quickly pickup on the constant contest between Jesus and the Pharisees about his breaking, as they saw it, of the Law. Now we will not go into those disputes, in depth, at this time. However, as far as those arguments, Jesus himself said:
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Jesus ministry, being cut short in the midst of Daniel’s 70th Week leaving 3 ½ years yet to be fulfilled, left a major portion of the Law unfulfilled as well, causing Paul to render the following in
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
In Leviticus Chapter 23:1 – 44, we see the Holy Days specified as feasts of the Lord even convocations for Israel to observe under the Law. We will here mention each event and specify New Testament verses showing said fulfillment. The key point to remember, in order to avoid the confusion of Christianity in their misrepresentation of Daniel 9 and Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy: Just what WAS and WAS NOT fulfilled by Jesus’ ministry of 26 through 30 CE.
Spring Holy Days Fulfilled
Leaving Fall Holy Days Unfulfilled
Removes Two Popular Views of Daniel’s 70th Week
As we will show, the spring Holy Days which are commemorated every year under the Law as to Israel and its prescribed yearly feasts, were fulfilled specifically ‘day by day’ by Messiah within the final days of the First Half of Daniel’s 70th Week. This was in confirmation of the Covenant of God with Israel about which Daniel was inquiring for an answer in Daniel 9:1-23. However, due to the fact that Messiah was cut off at the end of 3 and ½ years in the spring of 30 CE, the fall Holy Days as recorded in Leviticus 23:23 to the end of that chapter WERE NOT fulfilled and were left for Christ to fulfill upon his return as we just mentioned above in Hebrews 9:28. 458 BCE started the countdown of Daniel’s 70 Weeks of 7 years or 490 years under the decree given to Ezra, the priest and scribe with proper authority to establish government, the REAL building of Jerusalem, according to Deuteronomy 17:9-13, Psalms 122 and Ezra 7 with respect to Daniel 9:24-27. 69 of those weeks or 483 years brought us to 26 CE for the beginning of the 70th and confirmation week, Christ’s public ministry, with Messiah being cut off in the midst of the 70th Week after fulfilling only 3 and ½ years. Therefore this left 3 and ½ years for his return or Second Coming for the purpose of finishing the confirmation of the Covenant with national Israel under the Law of Moses by Messiah according to Luke 21:24 and Romans 11:25-26. Those verses from Luke and Paul make it plain this would occur AFTER the Seven Times more judgment of Leviticus 26:18-39 called “the times of the Gentiles” and “the fullness of the Gentiles,” were finished and completed.
Seeing no fall Holy Days fulfilled, as we plainly will now show were indeed fulfilled as to the spring Holy Days, is another assurance that Daniel’s 70th Week was not completely fulfilled or ran its course by the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7 or by the 70 CE destruction of Jerusalem. The presumptuous position with regard to Daniel 9 that the ‘entire’ 70th Week was fulfilled is called the Preterism view of the Ministry of Christ. This erroneously states that God’s dealing with the physical nation of Israel no longer exists as of the 30 CE rejection of Messiah, and then subsequent destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 CE. It is additionally called “replacement theology” due to this erroneous assertion that the Christian Church is now the Israel of God.
On the other hand, the clear fulfillment of the spring Holy Days is a witness against the Dispensationalist view as well. That doctrine teaches Christ only fulfilled 69 weeks leaving the full 70th Week to come after a Rapture of the church physically out of the world to heaven. This false view leaves the 7 years of Daniel’s 70th Week as a satanic covenant and tribulation. This is nowhere found in rightly, interpreted scripture using the Law and Prophets of the Old Testament as the guide for interpreting Paul’s writings according to Acts 26:22 and Romans 15:4. Rather, this doctrine stands on private interpretation isolating the New Testament and making it stand alone without showing clear representation in the Old Testament, after taking this erroneous view of Daniel 9. It is also blatantly in the face of Daniel 9:3-4 which shows in what Covenant Daniel centered his question and received his answer from Gabriel:
3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
4 And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
This verse is clear that a covenant of an evil nature or concerning those that do NOT love God and do NOT keep his commandments, which Dispensationalist superimpose in this centerpiece of Bible Prophecy, has no logical or reasonable backing from the Law and the Prophets of the Old Testament nor any support from the letters and writings of the Apostles of the New Testament who spoke directly and only according to that Old Testament record according to Isaiah 8:20 and Acts 26:22.
Spring Holy Days Fulfilled in the
Death, Burial, Resurrection of Christ
Coming of the Spirit of Messiah,
The Mindset of the Father, the Holy Spirit
In Exodus 12:1 - 20 and Leviticus 23:1 – 22, we have the spring Holy Days delineated as the 10th day of the first month for the taking, or setting aside for identification, of the lamb and then the 14th day and the 15th through the 21st marked out for actual observance.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
4 These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's Passover.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
The removal of leaven from the house so that it was not in any baked bread was completed by the 14th day when “at even” or the going down of the sun between 3 and 6 pm, the actual slaying and preparation of lamb for eating was done. After sundown which began the Hebrew or biblical day, the eating of the lamb was on the 15th day with bitter herbs and unleavened bread, which bread was to be the only kind eaten for the rest of that period through the 21st inclusive. Somewhere, depending on how the Hebrew calendar for the month lined up with the days of the week, from the 15th through the 21st of the first month, on the day after the regular weekly Sabbath of Saturday or on a Sunday in today’s terms, they were to bring the sheaf of the first fruits to the priest who waved it before the Lord. Forty-nine days later, on the 50th day or Sunday after the last or 7th Saturday or weekly Sabbath, two loaves of bread made from the harvest and sheaf of first fruits with leaven were waved before the Lord. It is also pointed out in these scriptures that the 15th, 21st and 50th day of this yearly cycle were holy convocations and no servile work was to be done, whether or not they aligned with the weekly Sabbath. In other words, as far as servile work, they were days of rest just the same as the weekly rest or Sabbath of Saturday. This is made clear by the weekly Sabbath being the first thing on the agenda in this portion mandated for observance and THEN the yearly feast days afterward. These special feast-day-rests are commonly referenced by tradition as High Sabbaths, High Days, or High Holy Days thus distinguishing them from the weekly Saturday Sabbath. This will be a prime area of confusion as to the placing of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, as we will point out when we address his fulfillment of these spring feast days further along in this Section II.
Evening and Then Morning, NOT Morning Then Evening
A major key, when addressing these days and their fulfillment, is the precedent established in Genesis Chapter 1. There it states the fact that Bible reckoning of days is “and the evening and the morning were the first day” etc. Now comparing that with the testimony and historic account as given by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the Book of Acts, we will see that Jesus came into Jerusalem to be offered as the Lamb of God on the 10th day, which happened to fall on Saturday of that year.
Jesus Enters Jerusalem on Saturday
The 10th of Nisan, March 30, 30 CE
Now how do we know that? Remember previously, we showed how 5 BCE was the birth of Christ fulfilling the Law and the Prophets of Leviticus 25:1-13, Isaiah 37:30-32 and II Kings 19:29-31. Counting 30 years we came to the beginning of his ministry in the summer/fall of 26 CE where his 3 and ½ year ministry brings us to spring of 30 CE. Next, we must look at the Perpetual Calendar of correlation between Hebrew dating and the Jewish Holy Days of Leviticus 23:1-44, over the centuries, as to how they fall with respect to the Julian/Gregorian Calendar with which we are most familiar. We can see that Nisan 14 or the Preparation Day when the Lamb was slain and prepared for that evening’s Passover Meal, was Wednesday, April 3, 30 CE. The day before was the 13th day or Tuesday, April 2. The 12th day was Monday, April 1. The 11th day was Sunday, March 31. Finally, we have Saturday being March 30, and the 10th day when the Lamb was identified for the Preparation Day slaying on the 14th day, according to Exodus 12:1-6.
Coming from the opposite direction and working forward to Wednesday just after sundown, John 12:1 in comparison with John 12:12, shows that Jesus ate on Nisan 9 or March 29, a Friday evening, with Mary, Martha and Lazarus, after Jewish tradition, the Shabbat, or Sabbath meal, just after Sundown that evening which was, according to Genesis 1, the beginning of the Sabbath. This was “6 days before Passover.” (The Passover was Wednesday night after sundown when the Lamb was eaten, the beginning of the 15th day and High Sabbath of Leviticus 23:6-7.) After that Friday evening with Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, it then being the weekly Sabbath, from Friday evening after sundown, he no doubt slept as normal and then entered Jerusalem during the day light hours of the Sabbath, Saturday the 10th day or Nisan 10 or March 30, 30 CE. This was a permissible travel on the Sabbath as indicated from Bethany to Jerusalem according to Mark 11:1, Luke 19:29, and Acts 1:12. This is the same day, the 10th day of the First Month, as we stated earlier, that according to Exodus 12 the lamb was identified and set aside for slaying later on the 14th day.
The Last Supper
He taught in the temple and Jerusalem between then and the equivalent of Tuesday afternoon Nisan 13 or April 2, 30 CE. He retired with the disciples for the last regular meal, eaten with leaven still in the bread, or what is commonly called The Last Supper, after sundown that Tuesday night, which was the start of the 14th day from that sundown Tuesday. After that, they went out to the Garden of Gethsemane from where he was taken by the mob led by Judas Iscariot. This was, again, on Tuesday night after sundown, which according to Genesis Chapter 1, was actually the beginning of the 14th day. During the daylight or morning or last half of the day, through to the evening or sundown on Wednesday, still being the 14th day, Nisan 14 or April 3, 30 CE, known as Preparation Day, the lamb was slain and prepared during that 14th day just before sundown for consumption. That evening after sundown, which was the beginning of the 15th day, the lamb was eaten with bitter herbs and unleavened bread.
The Key that Many Miss
Keep in mind this 15th day running from Wednesday evening, after sundown until sundown on Thursday evening, was also a holy convocation or High Sabbath with no servile work, but it was NOT a weekly Sabbath.
Jesus was crucified, died and removed from the cross and buried by sundown Wednesday evening, even as the lamb was slain and prepared for consumption by sundown as well. He remained in the grave from sundown that Wednesday evening through to sundown Thursday evening, or all of the biblical 15th day, which makes one full day or 24-hour period, or one full evening and one full daylight period. He remained in the grave all of the 16th day from sundown Thursday to sundown Friday, which makes another full day or 24-hour period, or one full evening and one full daylight period. The total at this point, at sundown Friday, was 2 full evenings and 2 full daylight periods in the grave, or 2 complete days. After sundown on Friday commenced the weekly Sabbath, or 17th day and began the 3rd day Jesus was in the grave.
Three Means a Full Three
Remember now, Jesus said in
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah:
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
He states in those verses, in verse 39, no sign would be given but that accomplishment, where he also said he would rise again according to Matthew 27:63, which verse in particular, shows that even the Pharisees knew that he had predicted these things.
Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
It is only in the recognition of that sequence of events that the 3 ½ years of his ministry would be viable and a living witness to Israel. This was no psychic prediction but rather based according to
9 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
and in the scriptures of the Prophets, in
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
So, following on, from sundown on Friday began the first half or evening of the 17th day and 3rd day that Jesus was in the grave. From sunrise unto sundown Saturday was the last half or morning of the 17th day and still the 3rd day Jesus was in the grave. According to Leviticus 23:10 - 11, it was the day after the weekly Sabbath that the sheaf of first fruits was to be waved before the Lord. Jesus arose from the dead just before sundown at the extreme end of the weekly Sabbath; thus, he was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights yet still rising on the third day or the end of the weekly Sabbath. He was seen by others, or waved before the Lord, as the firstborn from the dead, after sundown Saturday which began the Hebrew day of yom rison, “first day” of the week or Sunday. As the first fruits unto God of the spring harvest, he thus fulfilled these days relative to the spring harvest of yearly occurrence.
The Sabbath referenced was the 15th day or High Day, about which Pilate was approached toward sundown on the 14th day concerning removing the bodies from the cross. They were not referring to the weekly Sabbath as witnessed also by
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was a high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
Although the author of this publication uses parenthesis and comments in bold face to comment on the actual text of the Bible at times with various scriptures, one will notice that the parenthesis above in the verse of John 19 is NOT bold face. The reason, if one will consult one’s actual Bible, this parenthesis is part of the text of John emphasizing the difference in this “high day,” as separate and distinct from the weekly or normal 7th day Sabbath. Therefore, it was not the morning of the second day that anyone came to view the grave or that anyone saw Jesus. The Christian church of later years totally obliterated this true record in the minds of Christians down through the centuries. Like Israel before them, they also have made void the actual record of the scripture by bringing it subject to their lack of understanding, in their traditional teachings consequent upon false interpretation from the blind leaders of the blind. Here we have a very practical reason why a Jew cannot see the pertinence of Jesus ministry in fulfillment of the Torah mandates. It has been grossly overshadowed by the supposed Friday crucifixion and Sunday resurrection. These ‘off-the-mark’ celebrations make Jesus appear to be in error via his OWN statement that he would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The April-Fool Blunder of 33 CE
Most Christians are quite familiar with the supposed Good Friday Crucifixion, and Sunday Resurrection called “Easter” that is commemorated every year in Catholicism and most of Protestantism. However, they are unfamiliar with how it came about. Obviously, it has caused question from any sincere seeker of truth in that it is composed of a sliver of Friday, all of Saturday, part of Sunday and far short of 3 days and 3 nights composing three 24-hour periods as the truth of the subject, when looking at 30 CE, reveals. Without belaboring the point where the sincere seeker can do his own research, 33 CE subscribes to this less than 48-hour theory between Christ’s death and resurrection. It purports to show Nisan 14, April 1, 33 CE, Friday was his crucifixion, indeed Preparation Day that year as the Perpetual Calendar matching Hebrew and current dating, shows. This does not yield three 24-hour days between Christ’s burial and resurrection, does not line up with his birth in 5 BCE, much less correlate with Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy. These ‘preordained’ blunders, of Christendom within God’s Great Plan and Purpose, are another method that God has used to confound the “wisdom of the wise” in order to retain this mystery until broadcasted by Michael the Great Prince in the enlightenment of the end time as in Daniel 12:4, “. . . knowledge shall increase.”
Third Witness to 30 CE
Therefore to summarize this point of truth versus the error: We see Christ, in truth, being buried Wednesday afternoon just a brief moment before sundown by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus according to John 19:38-42, rising just before the first day of the week according to Matthew 28:1, and then being seen on the first day of the week according to the testimonies of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. This is three full 24-hour periods spent dead in the grave. Herein is the third witness to 30 CE as the year for this event.
In observing the Hebrew Perpetual Calendar, or a calendar which runs year to year back in time, we will come to 33 CE, or the year that most of Christendom has for centuries affirmed to be the year of the crucifixion. There one will see the 15th day or the High Sabbath, when the lamb was actually consumed, falls on a weekly Sabbath from which one can conclude erroneously the 14th day, or the previous day of Friday, was the day Christ died. The accounts of Matthew through John, being replete with testimonies he was seen on the first day of the week, a Sunday, have led to this year being the choice of many Christian theologians for Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Claiming a sliver of Friday, proposing that was when Joseph and Nicodemus buried him, all of Saturday, and about one half of Sunday, as they view it, when he was first seen, they then conclude their three days.
Not only is this bad first grade math, this is proven wrong when we move back three more years on that calendar. We find in 30 CE the Holy Days fulfilling three 24-hour periods or three days and three nights according to Matthew 12:38-40, 27:63, Leviticus 23:10-11 and Hosea 6:1-3:
10th day – Saturday (March 30)
14th day – Wednesday, buried before sundown (April 3)
15th day - Thursday, a High Sabbath or High Day, 1st 24-hour period in the grave (April 4)
16th day – Friday, 2nd 24-hour period (April 5)
17th day - Saturday, 3rd 24-hour period, Christ rises from physical death just before sundown (April 6)
18th day - Sunday, first day of the week, seen after resurrection (April 7)
The Threefold Cord of Proof
Moving in reverse, we can see this three 24-hour days is the first proof of 30 CE. Secondly, as made abundantly clear above, we have the Jubilee year of 6 BCE, making 5 BCE the birth of Christ and the first year of the next cycle according to Leviticus 25:1-13, Isaiah 37:30-32, II Kings 19:29-31. No other biblical event, but Christ’s birth, falling on that date fulfills those scriptures, including Isaiah 7:14 and Isaiah 9:6-7. When counting forward 30 years according to Luke 3:23, from that birth, we come to Christ’s public ministry beginning in 26 CE and ending in 30 CE. This is the second proof of 30 CE. Lastly or thirdly, we have the count of 69 weeks of years or 69 x 7 or 483 years from Ezra’s Decree in 458 BCE unto the beginning of the 70th Covenant Week of Daniel 9, summer/fall of 26 CE, where Messiah was cut off at 3 and ½ years, or in the midst of that 70th Week of years in spring of 30 CE. These three proofs are a threefold cord of strength according to Ecclesiastes 4:12. Additionally, as another point, Daniel 9 specifies the cutting off is “in the midst of the week,” which is primarily and specifically after 3 and ½ years of the Covenant 70th Week of years. However, April 3, 30 CE, Wednesday, in the secular or Roman vernacular, is equally in the midst of a literal week as well.
Pentecost and Beyond
As part of these spring feasts to the Lord, seven weekly Sabbaths after the waving of the sheaf of first fruits, there was a preparation of two loaves of bread from the harvest of the first fruits. They were also waved before the Lord on the day after that 7th weekly Sabbath, or a Sunday. This was done on the 50th day, hence the common term Pentecost.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.
17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the first fruits unto the Lord.
This was fulfilled in Acts Chapter 2-3 when the Spirit of life or the understanding of Jesus came back upon the people. It was assimilated and became something they could comprehend or spiritually and mentally digest. This occurred precisely on Pentecost as stated in Acts 2:1. Therefore this fulfilled, in the two loaves waved before the Lord, the transformation of grain of first fruits of the harvest into bread or making something inedible into something edible for human consumption. All that Jesus taught and proved to be true, verified in that he rose again, was brought to understanding on the Day of Pentecost, Sunday, Sivan 8, May 26, 30 CE, via the mind of Christ, his understanding or mindset put within those in the upper room, called the indwelling or baptism of the Holy Spirit.

It is also important to remember that all of these days in fulfillment are also seen prophetically within, and correspondent to, the First Half of the 70th Week and therefore within and correspondent to the first 3 ½ years of that same 70th Week. VERY IMPORTANT: These years, fulfilled personally by Messiah present, leave 3 ½ years and as we shall see, another set of Holy Days according to the rest of Leviticus 23:23–44, unfulfilled and remaining to be completed by Christ to Israel once Leviticus 23:22 and its corresponding period of time, unknown as to its duration by Christ or the Apostles, was fulfilled. Additionally, the second half of the atonement service of the High Priest, the scapegoat feature of Leviticus 16:20-22, remains for the Second Coming of Messiah as well.
Gentile Access to the Promise
Briefly and not belaboring the point at this time in order to stay on our subject, Leviticus 23:22 is fulfilled in Christ being offered to the Gentiles through Apostle Paul’s ministry. The strangers could gather the corners of the field and the gleanings off the ground during the spring harvest for Israel. This is Romans 9-11 and Ephesians 2 which would be completed and over before the fall Holy Days of Leviticus 23:23-44 ensued. Christ’s return will involve those Holy Days when the Age of Grace or Gentile/Stranger access to the Promise and Covenant of God with Israel will be finished.
Jesus DID NOT Finish the Plan of Redemption
Nor Fulfill the Complete Law
Nor Entirely Confirm the 70th Week
Now to a Jewish Christian, the Apostle Paul certainly being the most readily recognized even to this day, it is clear that whatever one may deduce from Jesus words on the cross it is finished, it certainly was NOT all of Leviticus 23 still necessary for the full redemption of the nation of Israel or complete fulfillment of the Law. Peter, in his sermon after healing the man at Gate Beautiful in Acts Chapter 3, did not say, if they repented, Israel would have fulfilled its obligation, and everything would be just fine. He said that if they did so, God would send Jesus from His presence and restore all things. To put it simply, the full job with respect to Israel was not done and the Law was still unfulfilled in certain aspects; in particular, the fall Holy Days of Leviticus 23:23-44 remained unanswered. Additionally, the fulfillment of the High Priest duties of full atonement with regard to the scapegoat ritual or the total doing away of sin altogether in Leviticus 16:20-22 was left for the future, as was the last 3 and ½ years of Daniel’s 70th Week in order to entirely confirm the Covenant of God with Israel under the Law of Moses, and thus usher in Israel’s blessing by the original Covenant of God with their father Abraham. All three of these things were left on hold, or in the balances without finality, until Christ’s return. Therefore, we see the absolute need for the return of the Messiah or Deliverer, to complete that ministry of the Last Half of the Covenant Week, so iniquity would be turned away from Jacob according to Paul’s account in Romans 11:25 – 26, after the finish and completion of the Times of the Gentiles, termed by Paul the Fullness of the Gentiles, which started in the spring of 537 BCE. As mentioned above, Michael is the name of which Daniel was informed to be the final deliverer of Israel from Chapter 10 on. As far as the First Half of the Covenant Week recorded in Daniel 9:24-27, the title “Messiah” is all that is used with no mention of a specific name.
The First False Interpretation of Daniel 9
The 6th Century BCE Move of Zionism
In Section IV, we will address the interpretation put upon Daniel’s Prophecy of 70 Weeks, which we term “THE CYRUS DECEPTION,” carried out by early Zionists eager to return to the land at the end of the Babylonian Captivity which had started in 607 BCE as the probationary judgment of Leviticus 26:14-17 and was coming to an end in 537 BCE. Two years earlier prior to this attempt at fulfillment of Daniel 9:24-27 by the Zionist move with Cyrus, in concern about this Leviticus 26 judgment and the prophecies of Jeremiah in Jeremiah 25:1-11 and Jeremiah 29:10-14 in 539 BCE, just before Babylon falling to the Mede and Persian take over, Daniel sought an answer from God. He saw no condition of repentance and understanding in national Israel that would warrant that return as stated in Daniel 9:13 and bring the blessing of Leviticus 26:40-42. In THE CYRUS DECEPTION, we will show how Daniel 10, under Michael’s understanding now presented in these lectures, reveals that Zionists of that day thought to change the times and laws of the Covenant of God with Israel as prescribed under Torah and its requirements. In rebellion against Daniel’s authority as the captivity prophet of God, they bulled ahead with their OWN interpretation of what God had given Daniel in the 70 Weeks Prophecy. Accordingly, they brought the further judgment of Leviticus 26:18-39 upon them in the spring of 537 BCE. This arrogance initiated the Times of the Gentiles which are detailed until the “time of the end” in Daniel 11, when Michael stands up with full deliverance. The Final Redemption then ensues, as presented in Daniel 12 fulfilling Hosea 3:4-5, concerning the end time.
In our next Section III, we will link the mindset of Adam with Israel in its infancy under deliverance from Egypt in the original Exodus. We will show, how that even before Moses could bring down exactly what God had for Israel in the FIRST set of stone tables, an alternate way of seeking God was introduced in opposition to Moses that prevented their redemption at that time. Revisiting that time and specifically the incident of the Golden Calf, we will make the connection to what has been the problem called the “Man of Sin” and “Mystery of Iniquity” in the ranks of Israel from the time of the Exodus that stood opposed to Moses, through to THE CYRUS DECEPTION withstanding Daniel. In later Sections, we follow this mindset of self-determination, freewill, and choice in the leadership over Israel in rejection of Messiah’s Ministry in 26-30 CE through to the 20th and 21st centuries which brings the final judgment removing that mindset and making way for the Redemption and Resurrection to full Truth and blessing not only for Israel, but also for all mankind. In so doing, we will also reveal the correct interpretation of Daniel and its connection with the Book of Revelation, following Israel again as the example in their failure, as well as their final deliverance and success, which is indicative of the same deliverance and understanding every individual must also acquire, by their example.
As always, we will return to the Director’s chair where all the players on this stage, the Bible, are only doing the Creator’s will to perform exactly that script written before time began. In THAT view and understanding, no one has failed AT ALL. All things are and have been done by that Divine Design to bring us to the blessing of our Father, the Almighty God, to whom is praise and glory forever. Amen.
No Antisemitism – Just the Facts of the Matter
The Epitome of the Truth and Its Reward
The Epitome of the Lie and Its Removal
BOTH Manifested in God’s Physical People:
The Jews or Israel
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
It is only fair to point out that the many Jewish readers of this treatise may take offence to the constant accentuation of Zionist, Jewish arrogance and headstrong blunders down through time. Please recognize that such blunder are equally pointed out as to the collusion between them and the Gentiles of Christendom through this publication as well, called “Christian Zionists.” In light of the above verse, by one of the most famous Jews of all time, the Apostle Paul, previously Saul of Tarsus and servant to the High Priest in Jerusalem, an ardent Pharisee who was taught as a devout follower of one of the supremely recognized teachers of Torah among Jews of his day, Gamaliel, Romans 3:19 states the purpose for which Israel has been the physical entity used, and that purpose is to prove the guilt of the whole of mankind or, as stated, “all the world.”
Also, keep in mind, within a close and careful study of Romans 9-11, as Paul shows Old Testament proofs as well, that it was in the manifold wisdom of God that Israel was blinded to the ministry of Jesus, so that the Gentiles could indeed be included in the final deliverance in view of God’s completed plan, via that rejection of Messiah’s First Ministry by Israel. Additionally, the blessing is also slated to at last come through physical Jews or Israel being joined to Messiah in the eventual outcome manifested from Jerusalem and Mt. Zion according to Isaiah 2:1-4, Micah 4:1-7, and Zechariah 14, not fulfilled in 30 CE and the First Ministry of Messiah, whereby all lessons learned, thus complete that blessing. Therefore, it is Jews and Israel that are used to display the epitome of the Sovereignty of God in triumph at last over the epitome of the Man of Sin / Mystery of Iniquity. Both are displayed in the written record of the Bible as a testimony to the origins, makeup, and final-end in view of each man and woman, regardless of race, ethnicity, or theological orientation, within their human essence. Therefore, every individual must come through their first or natural birth (born of water) as part of the greater body within the total concept called the “Man of Sin / Mystery of Iniquity” unto their final or spiritual birth (born of Spirit) as part of the greater body of Jews and Gentiles one in understanding, consciously subject to the Sovereignty of God, called the Manifested Sons of God / the Mystery of Godliness.
As goes Israel, so has gone, and will go, the world. This is a legacy of ‘apparent’ failures and successes all to be viewed as necessary and therefore perfect and flawless by the goal achieved – the end completed. There is no rung on this ladder that is not needed in order to arrive at the top, each perfectly set by the Almighty, Creator, and Controller of all things. There is no shame and only a correct and proper pride, not in ourselves, but rather in confidence and appreciation of all that God has done. It has not been done in vain and accomplishes what He has preordained within the statement “let us make man in our image and likeness.” Here let the Jewish people rejoice that they have been chosen from all of mankind, to be joined with Messiah first. Therefore, in bringing the finishing and releasing of the grand and glorious purpose to effect Israel’s final blessing and redemption, all of creation will at last experience that which was not accomplished in a partial ministry aborted or cut off in 30 CE, but rather now upon us as we close the 6th millennium of Bible recorded existence.
